The international seminar «Global and Eurasian region prospects of the economic development» took place on November 6, 2014 in Moscow.

The organizers of the event were the Eurasian Economic Commission, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the Interstate Bank.

The seminar was attended by the H. E. Ambassadors of Mexico, Bolivia, Chile, attaché of the French Embassy, prominent scientists of the Russian Federation, the representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and the Interstate Bank. Mr. Igor Souvorov (President of the Interstate Bank) and Ms. Tatiana Valovaya (EEC Member of the Board (Minister) on Integration Development and Macroeconomics).

Ms. Birgit Hansl (Lead Economist and Sector Leader for Russia, Europe and CA, World Bank), Mr. Jorg Mayer (UNCTAD Senior Economic Affairs Officer, Macroeconomic and Development Policies Branch), Mr. Joshi Bikas (Resident Representative to the Russian Federation, IMF), Sergey Ripinsky (UNCTAD Legal Affairs Officer, International Investment Agreements Section), Mr. Art Franczek (Co-chair of the Customs and Transportation Committee, American Chamber of Commerce), Mr. Evgeny Vinokurov (Director of the Centre for the Integration Studies, EABR) presented their reports.
