On July 7, 2026, the 54th meeting of the Eurasian Council of Central (National) Banks (ECCB) was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic. Representatives of central (national) banks, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market and the delegation of the Interstate Bank participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, participants discussed the performance and development prospects of the banking sector of the central (national) banks participating in the Eurasian Council of Central (National) Banks, the main directions of monetary policy, the impact of integration processes in the Eurasian region on balance of payments indicators, the experience of central (national) banks participating in the Eurasian Council in regulating virtual assets and the activities of virtual asset service providers, monitoring virtual asset transactions, and other topics.
