Joint Stock Company «Solar Security», a leading provider of comprehensive cybersecurity in Russia, implemented a comprehensive project to modernize the information security infrastructure at the Interstate Bank.
For the Bank, information security is directly linked to the resilience of cross-border payments, the protection of sensitive financial information, and the continuity of external digital services. In 2023, the Interstate Bank began the next stage of modernizing its information security infrastructure. Three solutions were simultaneously implemented in 2023: the Solar Dozor DLP system for data protection, the Solar WAF web application protection service, and the Security Awareness platform from Secure-T (part of JSC «Solar Security») to improve employee cyberliteracy. Today, these solutions protect the infrastructure of the Bank and its representative offices. In February 2026, amid a surge in attacks on the financial sector, Solar WAF recorded and successfully mitigated over 167,000 cyberattacks on the Bank's web resources, four times exceeding the 2025-2026 average.
In addition to technical protection, the Bank integrated Secure-T's Security Awareness platform and gained access to basic cyberliteracy courses for its employees. Considering the Bank's activity specifics, it was also decided to create its own training materials on the Security Awareness platform. Thus, training is structured systematically: a plan is approved annually, and employees complete a topic-specific course at least once a quarter, followed by testing.
