On July 1-3, 2026, the Financial Congress of the Bank of Russia was held in St. Petersburg. A delegation from the Interstate Bank took part in the event.
The central theme of the business program was ensuring long-term growth of the Russian economy. Participants discussed new financial instruments and technologies, the formation of a multipolar financial world, the development of the digital ruble, artificial intelligence and other topics. One of its key events was an open dialogue between the Governor of the Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, and the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, Sanjay Malhotra.
In 2026, the Financial Congress was attended by 1,150 participants, including 19 foreign delegations and over 90 foreign participants.
