ACRA affirms A- to the Interstate Bank, outlook Stable, under the international scale, and AAА (RU), outlook Stable, under the national scale.
ACRA believes that the Bank's credit ratings are based on the high level of the Bank’s capitalization, relatively high quality of assets, as well as a fairly strong liquidity position and a balanced funding structure. ACRA assumes that the Bank's activities, particularly in terms of developing settlements in the national currencies of its member states, are of great importance.
Key factors mentioned in the assessment include: satisfactory indicators for quality of strategy, corporate governance, organizational structure, and operational transparency; strong capital adequacy; adequate Bank’s liquidity and funding position; support from the Bank’s shareholder countries.
