About the Bank

General information

Interstate Bank is an international settlement, lending and financial institution.

The supreme governing body of the Interstate Bank is the Council of the Bank comprising the authorized representatives of the Bank’s participants.

Bilateral agreements with the governments of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Armenia and the Kyrgyz Republic on the terms of the Interstate Bank’s operation in these countries were signed and ratified. Agreements were signed with the central (national) banks of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan on the procedure and rules of the Interstate Bank’s banking activities in these states.

The Interstate Bank’s representative offices operate in the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus and the Kyrgyz Republic.

COUNTERACTING THE LEGALIZATION OF ILLEGALLY ACQUIRED PROCEEDS (MONEY LAUNDERING) AND THE FINANCING OF TERRORISM

In order to prevent the involvement of the Interstate Bank into performance of dubious operations and to protect the Bank’s business reputation the rules of internal control for the purposes of prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing have been elaborated and are being applied in the Interstate Bank.

The Bank is fully compliant with the requirements of Federal Law of August 7, 2001, No. 115-FZ “On countering the legalization of illicit gains (money laundering) and terrorism financing”.

The Interstate Bank does not maintain any relations with the banks having no permanent management bodies in the territory of the States where they are registered.

The Interstate Bank does not open accounts for anonymous owners or transfer funds without opening an account by an anonymous payer.

- Agreement signed with the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus
- Representative offices opened in the Republic of Belarus

- Agreement signed with the National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan

- The Agreement on the Establishment of the Interstate Bank and the Articles of Association of the Bank registered with the United Nations
2011
- The Interstate Bank becomes a member of FX section of Moscow Exchange
2015
- The Interstate Bank becomes a member of FX section of Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange
